About Rainbowrice

Soraya Nigita was born in Sydney, Australia, in 1985. She has not stopped travelling since, and is usually referred to as a “globe-trotter”, even though PE teachers have rarely considered her a trotter, or a jumper, or a runner for that matter. She has leisurely walked across from Down Under, to Europe, to Canada, back to the South Pacific, and pretty much in circles for the last twenty years. This has given her ample time to meet people, make and lose friends, and learn about herself and others. She studied languages and economics at the Sorbonne before trying her hand at cultural management and production and doing a masters in journalism. She is also a keen photographer.
